WBC, WBA, WBO and IBO world champion Oleksandr Usyk was arrested at the airport of the Polish city of Krakow. This information was shared by the deputy of the VRU and former Ukrainian wrestler Zhan Beleniuk, who released the corresponding video.
Polish promoter Andrzej Wasilewski reported that Usyk was going to fly to Spain, where he had to undergo a training session before the fight with Fury. For unknown reasons, they did not want to let Comrade Usyk board the plane. Oleksandr said that he would not fly without him, as a result, both were detained.
The Ukrainian boxer has already been released. Usyk called this situation a misunderstanding.
