President of the WBC (International Boxing Council) Mauricio Suleiman wants to have another fight for the title of absolute world champion.
“We are not promoters and cannot organize fights. But the WBC always supports the organization of joint fights for the title of absolute world champion. I want DuBois to face the winner of the Usyk-Fury rematch. It will be a big event, we will make every effort to make it happen,” said Suleiman.
The last fight for the title of absolute world champion in heavyweight took place in May – Usyk defeated Fury. The IBF belt later went to Daniel Dubois.
Earlier, the IBF heavyweight world champion Daniel Dubois challenged the Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk, the holder of the WBO, WBC, WBA and IBO titles.
