Deputy General Director of “Karpat” for external communications Oleg Avdysh named the reason why the player of the national team of Ukraine Oleksiy Hutsuliak transferred to Zhytomyr “Polyssia” instead of “Dynamo” Kyiv:

“Hutsulyak is engaged in his own career, he has enough intelligence and skills. I sometimes help him with advice, he is one of the closest people to me and my best friend.

I didn’t dance in front of Surkis, because we agreed on a transfer with Gennady Butkevich from the first day. Both Oleksii and I wanted him to play in Polissa. There was a meeting with the president of the Zhytomyr club, and after that Lyosha didn’t think about anything else. Butkevich knows how to convince. There was indeed interest from Dynamo, I respect the president of the Kyiv club, but we made such a decision.

Hutsuliak will be an important player of the national team of Ukraine in the near future, he confidently plays for the national team and does a great job. Maybe in the summer he will go to the top championships in Europe,” Avdysh said.

Oleksiy Hutsuliak moved to Polissia last year from Dnipro-1 club for 600,000 euros. This season, the footballer played 16 matches for the Zhytomyr club in the UPL, scored nine goals and provided two assists.
