38-year-old former biathlete of the Ukrainian national team Olena Podgrushna assessed the composition of the national team for the first stage of the 2025/26 World Cup.
The athlete, known in the past, is satisfied with the balance in the application, which combines experience and youth.
“The composition of our national team is now balanced: there are experienced biathletes and promising young people. I wish our team confidence and stability in their work,” Pidgrushna said.
We will remind you that Taras Lesyuk did not make it to the men’s national team of Ukraine, but the leader of the women’s team, Yulia Dzyma, will miss the first stage of the World Cup due to an injury.
The first stage of the 2025/26 World Cup will be held in the Swedish city of Östersund from November 29 to December 7.
