The national team of Ukraine among veterans played a match in support of the Armed Forces

A charity match in support of the Defense Forces of Ukraine was held in Lviv at the Skif stadium, in which the national veteran team of Ukraine defeated the Lviv Lions team with a score of 4:2.

Eduard Tsykhmeistruk, Myron Markevich, Volodymyr Lysenko and Oleg Shelaev were the winners with scored goals, and in addition to them, Yuriy Pankiv, Andriy Polunin, Oleksandr Kosyrin, Serhiy Nazarenko, Ruslan Kostyshyn, Andriy Vorobey, Artem were on the field as part of the star team. Stargorodskyi, Vitaly Samoilov, Ivan Krivosheyenko and Mykola Ishchenko.

Vitaly Bilyak made the symbolic first kick at the ball. A brave young man lost his leg a year and a half ago during a combat mission, and now, going through a difficult stage of rehabilitation, he is actively engaged in social activities. In memory of Vitaly, the veterans team presented a t-shirt with players’ autographs.

The organizers of the match were the All-Ukrainian Sports Association of Football Veterans of Ukraine, “Agrobusiness” LLC, the Charitable Foundation of the Sobutsky family, the Ukrainian Football Association and the Lviv State University of Physical Culture.
