The 39-year-old specialist was replaced by Eetu “sAw” Sahu in June after 18 months in the role, during which Team G2 won IEM Dallas, BLAST Premier Fall Final and BLAST Premier World Final, all in 2024.
This was TaZ’s first experience as a coach after an illustrious playing career that saw him win numerous trophies in CS 1.6 and CS:GO, including winning the 2014 EMS One Katowice Major.
“The end of the season means the beginning of new adventures. I’m ready for the next challenge as a CS2 trainer,” he wrote on X (Twitter).
This is the first time TaZ has openly stated his desire to continue coaching. Previously, after leaving G2, he was uncertain about his future.
The Pole emphasized his achievements, noting that the G2 titles were won in difficult circumstances, and urged the clubs not to pay attention to public opinion, which often criticized him.
“I don’t have an agent and I don’t control the external rhetoric, but I know I can help any team in the world reach new heights. I am ready to share my knowledge more than ever before. Write me in private if you want to create something big. Don’t let outside noise keep you from being the best in the world,” added TaZ.
