Forward of Zhytomyr Polissia Oleksandr Filippov reacted to the disqualification of the head coach of “Wolves” Ruslan Rotany.
“We know Ruslan Petrovych as a fair and emotional coach, that’s why he did it as a real coach who does not care about the fate of the team.
He stood up for the team, he saw these episodes – not only with a red card, but also others, when the players of Rukh fouled and the referee did not give anything, but at the first opportunity he gave us yellows left and right. Therefore, of course, the nerves of every coach will not last,” said Filippov.
In the current season, Polissya occupies the third place in the Ukrainian Premier League standings, having 27 tournament points after 15 matches played.
