Ukrainian tennis players Lyudmila and Nadia Kichenok advanced to the doubles semifinals of the WTA 500 hardcourt tournament in Brisbane, Australia.

In the quarterfinals, the Ukrainian women won the “neutral” tandem in a super tie-break Iryna Khromacheva / Alexander Panov. The meeting lasted 2 hours and 4 minutes.

Lyudmila and Nadiya could have ended the match even earlier if they had realized their advantage in the second game when they led 4:2 with one break.

Kichenok held the first face-to-face confrontation against Khromacheva and Panova.

Lyudmila and Nadia reached the first joint semifinal since January 2025 – then the Ukrainian women reached the decisive match at the 500th in Linz.
