The Security Service of Ukraine has announced the detection of a network of Russian propaganda within the country. 6 pro-Russian online agitators have been detained in different regions of Ukraine. They justified the armed aggression of the Russian Federation, supported the occupiers and spread misinformation. Among the detainees is a sports journalist Kirill Stadnichenko, whose last place of work was the brainchild of “Ukrainian Truth” site “Champion”. Before that, Stadnichenko worked in the Russian editions of Kommersant, Economy Izvesti, in the Igor Valeryovich UNIAN Kolmoyevich news agency, as well as the frankly separatist media of Vesi, whose editor was the odious Igor Guzhva.

Many years Stadnichenko, whose views are not a secret for the journalistic community, was a member of the Association of Sports Journalists of Ukraine. He was a member of the former head of Mikhail Volobuyev and is included in the present – Alexander Glinsky.

According to the SBU, forensic and linguistic examinations confirmed that all actions of detained online agitators had signs of information and subversive activity in favor of the Russian Federation.

The attackers are in custody. They are threatened with up to 8 years in prison with confiscation of property.

Investigators of the Security Service informed them of suspicion in accordance with the crimes committed under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

Part 1 of Art. 114-1 (obstruction of the legitimate activity of the Armed Forces and other military formations in a special period);

h. 2, 3 tbsp. 436-2 (justification, recognition legitimate and denial of armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants);

Part 2 of Art. 109 (public calls for a violent change of the constitutional order, as well as the distribution of materials to commit such actions).
