On July 28, Laura Dalmayer, along with her partner, was in a mountaineering campaign in the style of “Alpine Technology” when she was covered with a stone fall. The incident happened about noon at an altitude of about 5700 meters. The partner immediately transmitted the alarm, after which the rescue operation was immediately launched.
Due to the distance of the area, the rescue helicopter was able to reach the scene only in the morning of July 29. Currently, the International Team of Mountain Rescuers coordinates the evacuation operation. They are assisted by experienced international climbers in the region.
Laura Dalmayer has been in the area since late June with his friends and on July 8 successfully conquered the top of Greek-Transo-Tower (6287 m). Lila-Pick was the second planned mountain route. Dalmier, originally from Garmash-Partenkirchen, is a certified mountain and ski guide, an active participant in a mountain rescue detachment and is considered an experienced and cautious climber.
