The Formula Trophy 2025 season has ended. Where is Bondarev?

The season of one of the Formula 4 class championships ended last weekend – Formula Trophy. The series consisted of three stages, which took place on two tracks – in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

A Ukrainian took part in one of them, namely the second F1 GP Trophy Race, held as a support series for the final stage of Formula 1 – the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Oleksandr Bondarev. He is a representative of the Williams Racing F1 team’s pilot academy.

It was the only stage of the season for the Ukrainian, which he spent flawlessly, scoring the maximum possible points and taking the lead in every session – from practice to the final race.

Despite this, due to the lack of starts in the first and third stages, it was extremely difficult for Bondarev to mathematically compete for high positions in the overall standings.

Alp Aksoy, who scored 105 points, became the Formula Trophy champion based on the results of three stages. Second place went to Niccolò Maccagnani (78), third was Rowan Campbell-Pilling (77).

Oleksandr Bondarev finished the season in 8th place with two wins, pole positions and 50 points.
