The Ukrainian Gymnastics Federation (UFG) made a statement on the statement of gymnasts of the national team, which stated that they were ready to boycott Euro-2025 because of Gennady Sartinsky’s removal.
“The stated boycott of a group of gymnasts is obviously not in the interests of Ukrainian sports and can be used by hostile propaganda to discredit the Ukrainian sports movement,” the statement reads.
The appeals were signed by: Chepurny Nazar, Griko Vladislav, Oleg Vernyaev, Dmitry Prudko, Perepalkolkin Yegor, Butynas Stasis, Dishuk Igor, Rudy Ivan, Suprun Bogdan and Sweden Svyatoslav.
