The ex-champion of Albania explained the secret of their national team’s progress

In 2002, the Ukrainian won the title as part of Dynamo”, — write: sport.ua

Ukrainian Serhiy Romanyshyn became the first domestic player to win the title of Albanian champion as part of Dynamo Tirana in 2002.

This full-back has performed not only for Stryia “Skala”, Lviv “Karpaty”, Boryspil “Borysfen”, Kremenchug “Kremin”, but also for several Albanian clubs: “Vlaznia”, “Besa”, “Shkumbini”, ” Skanderbeu”.

Serhiy Romanyshyn, who once played for the youth national team of Ukraine and now lives in Canada, made a prediction for the Nations League match between the national teams of Albania and Ukraine exclusively for Sport.ua:

“I will not be original when I say that the national team of Albania has been in the spotlight in recent years. There is no comparison between the current level of the Albanian championship and when I had to play there. Progress is obvious.

As for the national team of Albania, its progress can be explained by the fact that many local football players have become legionnaires and are rapidly increasing by defending the colors of foreign clubs. And the coaching staff of the Albanian national team has plenty to choose from.

A difficult test awaits the Ukrainian national team in Tirana. Moreover, the last matches of Serhii Rebrov’s wards are not quite successful, and therefore they will not be favorites. Nevertheless, thanks to a stronger character, a more equal composition, the Ukrainians should prevail. Score? There won’t be many goals – 1:0.”
