According to journalist Ihor Tsyganyk, the period of disqualification starts from December 2024, when the footballer was suspended from matches and training. Mudryk faces two to four years of disqualification for violating anti-doping rules, so his return is possible no earlier than December 2026. It is noted that the Ukrainian may be suspended for such a period, because the Ukrainian’s lawyers are actively working to ease the conditions of suspension.
Under certain conditions, the Ukrainian can get permission to train with the team a few months before the end of the ban, but there is currently no reason to expect him to appear on the field before the end of the 2025/26 season.
