35-year-old central midfielder of Shakhtar and the national team of Ukraine Taras Stepanenko can leave the Donetsk club.
According to Turkish journalist Ersan Serdal, the Turkish “Sivasspor” is showing interest in the midfielder. Stepanenko’s contract with the “miners” expires already this summer, so negotiations regarding the possible transfer of the Ukrainian to the Turkish club can begin already in the winter.
This season, Stepanenko played 13 matches at the club level and was not noted for his productive actions. Earlier it was reported that the Ukrainian winger of Shakhtar Donetsk Oleksandr Zubkov is seriously interested in San Diego.
