A 19-year-old Ukrainian who received the sixth sowing room in the 1/16 finals defeated Pauli Ormahechea (WTA 1005) from Argentina. Darya overcame in three sets at the 1/8 finals Jacqueline Nylander Altelius (WTA 1277) from Sweden.
