“Tyson understands that this is a fight he has to win. He is not 30 years old anymore, he is coming back after a big defeat. If he loses again, he will be among the heavyweights, where there will be many dangerous fights, he does not need that at his age.
I believe that Tyson is mentally ready for the rematch, but I am most worried about the readiness of his body. The head may be ready to enter the ring, but the body is not always,” said Malignaggi.
Earlier, Turki Al-Sheikh announced that the rematch between WBC, WBA, WBO and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk and ex-WBC champion Tyson Fury will take place on December 21, 2024.
