It came after the Great Yarmouth MP was reported to police for allegedly threatening party chairman Zia Yusuf with “physical violence”.
Mr Lowe also faces allegations of “serious bullying” against two female staff.
Former Tory MP Mr Anderson said Mr Lowe had been unwilling to co-operate with an investigation into his behaviour.
He said: “The Parliamentary party cannot function whilst Rupert is a Reform UK MP.”
The row began last week after Mr Lowe, 67, described Reform UK as a “protest party led by the Messiah”.
Nigel Farage, to whom he was referring, said his comment was “utterly wrong”.
Yesterday, Mr Lowe tried to patch things up by inviting Mr Farage to dinner through a message on X.
Claims have also emerged that Mr Lowe “manhandled” Labour minister Mike Kane in the Commons last December.
He said: “This matter was dealt with at the time.”
The Met Police said they were assessing an allegation of verbal threats made by a 67- year-old man on December 13.
