15 skeleton athletes competed for awards in the U-20 category, four of whom represented Ukraine.
The highest result among Ukrainians was demonstrated by 16-year-old Vladyslav Klymenko, who managed to win a bronze award. In both races, he showed the third time – a total of 1:54.94 minutes, one and a half seconds behind the Latvian Davis Valdovskis. Only 0.08 seconds separated Klymenko from the second step, which was occupied by another Latvian Emils Indriksons
The results of races in the U-20 age category were also taken into account in the U-23 category, where the same Waldovskis won, and Klymenko took the fifth place.
The next start for juniors will be the world championship, which will take place on March 12 in Winterberg, Germany.
For the second year in a row, Ukraine ends the European Junior Skeleton Championship with a bronze medal – in the previous season, Yaroslav Lavrenyuk took third place in both age divisions of the U-20 and U-23 championships.
