Norwegian tennis player Casper Ruud (ATP 7) won the second victory at the 2024 ATP Final tournament, which is held on closed hard courts in Turin (Italy).

In the 3rd round of the John Newcombe Group, the Norwegian beat the “neutral” Andrei Rublev (ATP 8) in three sets in 1 hour and 45 minutes.

It was the 8th meeting of the rivals. Casper won the second face-to-face confrontation.

With two wins, Ruud advanced to the semi-finals of the ATP Finals behind Alexander Zverev. Kasper will play against Yannick Sinner at the start of the playoffs.

In Turin, Rublev lost all three confrontations and finished his performances, having managed to win only one set.
