Head coach of the Ukrainian national team Sergey Rebrov frankly told why he did not call Andriy Yarmolenko to the location of the national team of Ukraine. The expert said that there is good competition for Andrii’s position.
“The story with Yarmolenko shows that there are now enough players in his position who showed and show a good level. I was very interested to see the level of Hutsuliak, the same Nazarenko who scored many goals and they show a mature game in the national championship.
I was very interested in calling up these players, but not calling up as a fourth player in a position, but giving them a chance,” said Rebrov.
In November, “blue and yellow” will play two matches. On November 16, they will meet the Georgian national team, and on November 19, they will play against Albania.
Earlier it was reported that the Albanian national team lost key players before the match with Ukraine.
