Forget about seeing Lil Baby in a casino anytime soon. On a recent episode of Lil Yachty’s A Safe Place podcast, the Atlanta hip-hop artist made a stunning confession about his multimillion-dollar casino losses while promoting his new album.

“Once I spent about 40 hours in a row in a casino and lost about 8-9 million dollars,” said the artist. “I forced myself to stop. I asked [друга та бізнесмена] Mike Rubin to write a letter to all the casinos asking them to ban me because I just couldn’t control myself.”

Lil Baby, whose real name is Dominic Jones, says he no longer plays. The rapper, who rose to fame in 2017 thanks to his mixtapes and won a Grammy in 2022 for his collaborations with Kanye West and The Weeknd, has previously admitted to heavy losses. In 2022, he lost $600,000 in one night playing in the Bahamas with Drake.

By the way, Drake is also known for his passion for gambling, especially sports betting. In July, he lost $300,000 betting on the Canadian soccer team, and his $1 million bet on Argentina winning the 2022 World Cup also came up short.

In the hip-hop world, Lil Baby is not alone in his gambling adventures, with Nelly recently avoiding charges related to gambling in a Missouri casino, and Young Thug once admitting to his followers that he lost $800,000 in Las Vegas. And Grammy-winner Nas went the other way – he joined Genting in the fight for a casino license in New York.
