The day started with both Sporting and Benfica locked on the same points, with Sporting top on goal difference.
However a stunning final day saw Sporting down Vitoria 2-0 and Benfica slip up to a 1-1 draw with Braga.
Arsenal’s top target Viktor Gyokeres added the second for Sporting on what was expected to be his final appearance for the club.

At 18 with an already developed precious skill for the spectacular, the attacking midfielder looks to be the next one off the Portuguese cavalry.
