Littler, 18. admitted after his latest win that he might be the best darts player in the world.
Following the 6-1 win over world No1 Humphries in last week’s final, the world champion said: “I think that goes to show how everyone does say I’m the best in the world at the minute.
“But you know me I’ll never really say I’m the best in the world.
“I but I’m performing better than these guys so maybe I should be saying I’m best in the world.
“For myself when I’m playing certain players I know when I’ve got them and it goes to show.
“Humphries shows a bit too much and as a player you’re like he’s at 60 or 41 and he’s not happy about it then his next throw he is the same score so you just have to pounce.”
