The Finnish racer will join the former pilot Red Bull Sergio Perez in the American team, which will be the 11th on the starting grate. According to Bottas, negotiations have already taken place between the head of Mercedes Tto Wolf and Kadlak’s boss Gram Loudon, and both sides are set up to cooperate.

“There were already negotiations. Graham and Toto communicated with each other, and Mercedes fully supports my transition. I do not think they will be forbidden to me, ”Bottas said.

The pilot also added that he is already involved in online meetings with Kadillac representatives and provides feedback on the development of the project. He will officially start working in the team in January, but it assists that he will help before.

“It is probably about working on a simulator. Mercedes and Cadillac discuss this by this weekend. I have already visited the team base in Silverstoun – and I was pleasantly surprised by how ready everything is ready, ”Bottas said.
