A group of 18 children and 15 mothers visited the training complex of the Lisbon “Benfica” – Benfica Campus. A special visit was prepared for the guests, during which they were able to communicate with Ukrainian players, familiarize themselves with the club’s infrastructure and feel the atmosphere of great European football.
The initiative was organized by the club’s Foundation together with the direction of professional football. The program of the visit also included attending the match between Benfica and Estrela da Amador in the 19th round of the Betclic League, which was a special moment for the guests.
Such events have not only symbolic, but also important humanitarian significance – they give children emotional support, new experiences and a sense of care far from home.
