Midfielder “Tottenham” Rodrigo Bentancourt received a serious head injury during the semi-final match of the English League Cup against Liverpool. 
The incident happened after a corner kick, when the Uruguayan football player landed on his head and remained motionless for a long time.
The medical team gave Bentancourt first aid right on the field, after which he was carried away on a stretcher with an oxygen mask. Due to this episode, the match was suspended for about 10 minutes.
In the 15th minute, Rodrigo Bentancourt was replaced by Brennan Johnson, and the game was resumed (0:0, first half).
