The national team of Ukraine, which was 23rd before the start of the selection, rose immediately by 15 positions and now occupies the eighth position. Ainars Bagatskis’ team won two matches out of two – in the first they defeated Georgia (92:79), in the second – Denmark (88:71), who lost 18 and 5 positions in the rating, respectively, and are now in the third ten.
As a reminder, the next matches will be held in February and March 2026 – our team will play two matches against the Spanish national team.
