Paolini reached the final WTA tournament. Who will fill the last vacancy?

Italian tennis player Jasmine Paolini became another participant of the WTA Final Tournament, which will be held from November 1 to 8 in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). For the 29-year-old athlete, this will be the second appearance in a row at the final competitions of the season.

2025 was one of the most successful years in Paolini’s career. She won the prestigious WTA 1000 title in Rome, reached the final of the WTA 1000 tournament in Cincinnati and reached the semifinals in Miami. At Grand Slam tournaments, the Italian’s best result was reaching the 1/8 finals of Roland Garros.

In addition to singles, Paolini will also compete in doubles, together with compatriot Sara Errani. Jasmin will become the only tennis player who will play in two disciplines at once.

Previously, participation in the WTA Final tournament was already guaranteed: Aryna Sobolenko (no flag), Iga Swiontek (Poland), Corey Gauff (USA), Amanda Anisimova (USA), Madison Keys (USA) and Jessica Pegula (USA).

Yelena Rybakina (Kazakhstan) and Mirra Andreeva (neutral) claim the last ticket to Riyadh.
