In October 2025, 314 illegal online casinos were blocked in Ukraine. Two licensed operators received fines of UAH 2 million for violating the terms of operation.
This was reported to the Ministry of Statistics, which, together with the PlayCity agency, monitors the illegal gambling market.
It also became known that the government has adopted a resolution to combat gambling addiction – gambling companies are now required to monitor the risky behavior of players, and time and spending limits for the game are also being prepared.
In addition, a memorandum was signed with the Bureau of Economic Security, which will allow faster detection of violations and blocking of illegal sites.
