On January 6, the 1/8 final stage ended in Morocco African Cup of Nations.

There are 8 contenders for the title – all of them are giants of continental football.

The quarter-final pairs have been determined, the matches will take place on January 9-10.

Quarter-final pairs (by grid): Mali – Senegal, Egypt – Cote d’Ivoire, Cameroon – Morocco, Algeria – Nigeria.

The African Cup of Nations matches are held in 9 stadiums in 6 cities in Morocco: Rabat (4 arenas), Casablanca, Agadir, Marrakech, Fez and Tangier.

The semi-finals will be played on January 14, with the final scheduled to be played in Rabat, Morocco on January 18, 2026.
