On the way to PSG. Flamengo reached the semi-finals of the Intercontinental Cup

In the evening of December 10, the quarter-final match took place in Qatar’s Al-Rayyan FIFA Intercontinental Cup.

Brazilian Flamengo defeated Mexican club Cruz Azul (2:1) in the Derby of the Americas.

Georgian de Arrascaeta scored a winning double for Flamengo, while Jorge Sanchez scored for the opponents.

The victory allowed Flamengo to advance to the semifinals of the tournament, where the opponent on December 13 will be the Pyramids club from Egypt.

The winner of this match will play on December 17 in the final against PSG of Paris, the winner of the Champions League.
