WBC, WBA and IBF heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Usyk talked about his preparation for fights with Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury.
“I started preparing for the fight with Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury 10-11 years ago. I told a lot of people that I would fight Joshua and Fury. These fights have long been part of my plans, I always believed in my opportunity to meet these opponents in the ring,” Usyk said.
Usyk defeated Joshua twice in 2022 and 2023. The same fate befell Fury in 2024.
Earlier, Oleksandr Usyk gave Anthony Joshua a special gift from the Ukrainian military – a tactical watch made of a 105-mm shell casing.
