Turin “Juventus” officially said goodbye to one of the club’s functionaries – the general director left his position Maurizio Scanavino.

The specialist worked in this position for three years, assuming it in November 2022.

Three years ago, I accepted this honorary appointment at a very difficult time – a time that carried certain risks for those who were given the responsibility to lead the club. The goal was clear: to start a path based on economic stability and sports competitiveness. With the support of owners, directors and talented colleagues, we have overcome many challenges with determination, despite all the difficulties.

I will forever keep in my memory the unique emotions experienced and shared with the players, coaches, sports directors and all the staff. These moments will remain unforgettable.

Today, more than ever, I am very optimistic about the future of Juventus and I am sure that many more glorious pages of history await the club,” said Scanavino.

During Maurizio’s tenure as CEO, Juventus won only one trophy – the Coppa Italia in the 2023/24 season.

OFFICIALLY. The Ukrainian forward got a new coach in the Italian club

Il prossimo 7 novembre, alla scadenza naturale del suo mandate, Maurizio Scanavino terminerà il suo incarico in Società.
