The 40-year-old French goalkeeper Steve Mandand has announced his career after the end of the contract with Renne.
“It took me time to accept it, because it is not easy, but yes, I’m going. I received a lot of offers, but every time I answered “no”, – said Mandanda.
The legendary goalkeeper remains the record holder of Marcel by the number of matches (613).
He also advocated Gavr and Crystal Pelas.
In 2018, Mandanda became the world champion as part of the French national team.
Steve Mandanda was recognized as the best goalkeeper of the French league five times. He once won the country’s championship, raised the League Cup and twice Super Cup of France three times over his head.
