Saudi football club “Al-Shabab” received a transfer ban from FIFA due to the debt to “Dynamo” Kyiv for the transfer of the ex-goalkeeper George Bushchan.
“FIFA banned the club from registering new players due to non-payment of $500,000 to Dynamo for the transfer of Buschan, which was supposed to be made after signing the contract. The management of the club has already taken measures to repay the debt as soon as possible. Once paid, the restriction will be lifted and Al-Shabaab will be able to sign new players in the winter transfer window,” the club said in a statement.
Georgy Bushchan joined Al-Shabaab in January from Dynamo for €3 million. The contract runs until June 30, 2027, but already in September, the goalkeeper went on loan to Polissia.
