Ukrainian goalkeeper of Lisbon “Benfica” Anatoly Trubin spoke about his contribution to Ukraine’s victory over Russia:
“As a player, I am obliged to defend Ukraine. These are my statements in interviews, the messages I publish on social networks, my gestures on the football field. All this is important. As for actions, I support young Ukrainian athletes from the temporarily occupied territories with monthly payments. I went through this myself in 2014 and I know how a little help can be a huge motivation. Their big dream is sport, and all this will not be in vain.”
