The 26-year-old English defender of “Liverpool” Trent Alexander-Arnold will receive a new contract offer from the club in the near future.
According to Marca, the management of “Liverpool” plans to extend the agreement with Trent, but does not intend to keep the player at any cost.
The new deal will include few bonuses and only a modest salary increase.
The Spanish publication notes that Liverpool’s offer will be much more modest compared to the one Real Madrid is planning to make. The Royals are looking to sign Alexander-Arnold as a free agent this summer.
It was previously reported that Real Madrid offered Liverpool 15 million euros for the transfer of the player in the winter transfer window, but the Merseysiders rejected the offer.
