NBA Boston Seltix Club will receive a new owner in the near future – businessman William Chisholm and a group of investors will acquire the current champion.
The amount of the agreement is $ 6.1 billion, which will be the new record of professional leagues of North America.
Previously, the record belonged to the NFL Club Washington Commander, for which $ 6 billion was paid. The third place is the NBA Club Phoenix Sance – 4 billion.
Boston was put up for sale last summer after Seltix has won their first title since 2008.
Boston has 18 championships in history – the NBA record.
