FIFA is asked not to start games in the middle of the day or early evening at high temperatures, which affects the health of players and football quality.
Six cities are among those who are in a dangerous area in terms of high temperatures – Kansas, Miami, Monterrey (Mexico), Guadalahara (Mexico), Boston and Philadelphia.
FIFA is even asked to cancel matches if the temperature exceeds certain indicators.
It should be noted that in addition to the heat of FIFA, there is a problem with the laws in the United States, through which the matches are suspended during the weather with the threat of lightning strikes.
The United States can change these laws at the time of the 2026 World Cup.
