Nazar VOLOSHYN: “I want this season to be the best for me”

Midfielder “Dynamo” Nazar Voloshyn spoke about his impressions of the training process at the winter meeting in Turkey and gave an assessment of his progress in the current season.

– “Dynamo” held another training session. How does it feel?

– We got a good load, it was very interesting in training. They ran a lot, scored a lot of goals.

– Tell me what the exercises were today, because there were different “challenges”. What did you like the most?

– Perhaps the most interesting was the competition, who will press the blue or red buttons the fastest and the most.

– This season was a breakthrough for you – you made your debut for the national team, and you are consistently playing for Dynamo. Can you call this season the best in your career so far?

– If we take the events that happened, then yes. I want this season to be the best, so that I score a lot of goals, give a lot of assists and give the maximum benefit to the team.

– January is coming to an end. What results of the first month of the new year can you summarize for yourself?

– Nothing. We train, train a lot, get in shape, prepare for the championship.

– You have raised the bar high for yourself. What helps you keep it? Perhaps some instructions, meditation or someone motivates you.

– I believe that discipline. For example, you don’t want to wake up early, but you have to. That’s how everything is built. The bar is high, and therefore discipline is required.

– We talk after the night of the Champions League, there were 18 matches. What did you watch, if not a secret?

– Of course, “Benfica” – “Real”. I watched until the last goal (smiles). I live with Denis Ignatenko. He is a goalkeeper, and was simply in shock. I am in shock, and he is even more so. Congratulations to Anatoly Trubin, he is a great man. Congratulations to his team that made it to the playoffs.

– Did you watch the game together with Denis?

– Yes.

– Did the neighbors wake up or were they watching too?

– They also looked, knocked on the wall.

– The selection of matches was great. Why did you watch the match “Benfica” – “Real”?

– To be honest, I’m just a Real Madrid fan (smiles). I follow Real Madrid because Mbappe plays there, I really like his game. But I will say that I am very happy that Benfica won and Anatoly scored a goal. It doesn’t bother Real Madrid, one might say, Voloshyn said.
