An authoritative British portal GiveMeSport published the rating of the best athletes in the XXI century.

The first position in the rating was taken by the 23-time Olympic champion American swimmer Michael Phelps.

The second position was taken by the American tennis player Serena Williams, and the bronze went to the eight-time winner of the Golden Ball, Lionel Messi.

One of the best basketball players in NBA history, LeBron James, is fourth on the list, and former NFL quarterback Tom Brady is fifth.

Roger Federer, Simone Biles, Tiger Woods, Usain Bolt and Kobe Bryant also made it into the top ten. Cristiano Ronaldo took the 13th position.

Earlier, the Give Me Sport portal published a rating of the best forwards in the history of football.
