Less than two years ago, the reality star announced on Instagram that he had welcomed a son after his Olympic swimmer girlfriend Emily Seebohm gave birth.

Ryan is best known to viewers in the UK from starring in Married At First Sight Australia back in 2018, although his series didn’t air on these shores until 2020.
It was confirmed to Sky News Australia that the pair had called it quits.
A source said: “Ryan and Emily are trying to find a new normal, which has been a real process.
“Their number one priority is Sampson and ensuring he continues to feel supported by both parents.
“They haven’t felt the need to make public statements.”
It was also reported by the publication that Ryan has relocated to Brisbane and is living on his own after the split.
On MAFS, he was famously married to bride Davina, who ended up having an affair with another groom, Dean.
The scandal pushed the series to record ratings both in Australia and in the UK.
Ryan left the experiment a single man after the affair was exposed on national television.
After his stint on MAFS, Ryan also starred in I’m A Celebrity Australia, where he enjoyed a brief romance with Geordie Shore star Charlotte Crosby.
Charlotte clashed with Ryan on the Australian version of the show when he accidentally wore a pair of Tanya Hennessy’s socks.
The Geordie Shore star got so angry she questioned whether he had issues communicating with women.
The pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other on the programme and quickly found their feet in the outside world, moving into Adam’s Doncaster home.
Just 18 months after meeting, the couple welcomed their daughter Beau.
Season five couple Michelle Walder and Owen Jenkins also managed to make their marriage work away from the cameras and had their first child in December.
Teacher Michelle, 29, has no regrets about taking part in the experiment. She told us: “I just feel very lucky and thankful that it has worked out – and excited for everything to come.”
Michelle and Owen were both sick of dating apps when they applied in 2019.
Owen recalled: “I had been out for some drinks with a friend after work.
“While he was out for a cigarette I was scrolling on Instagram waiting for him to come back in.
“The MAFS advert was the last thing I saw, and I joked, ‘Wouldn’t it be funny if I signed up?’
“A few beers later when I was back at home I sent in the application, and the rest is history.”
Another couple to make Mafs UK history is Zoe Clifton and Jenna Robinson.
Despite a slight rocky start, where they clashed over Jenna’s vegan lifestyle, the show’s first same sex pairing are still going strong.
They even have a successful podcast together called Life With a Pod.
Jenna shed light on being involved in the show earlier this year when she told us: “We’re not legally married, and I never felt like we were. I definitely feel the process makes you take the relationship a lot more seriously and having the help of the experts… if you can survive that process it sets a firm foundation for a long-lasting relationship.”
The row triggered when Ryan asked his campmates if the pair of socks drying by the fire was his – not knowing they were actually Tanya’s.
YouTuber Tanya is suffering a foot infection and started crying over the socks.
Ryan said: “I didn’t realise they were yours. I asked… are you sure you don’t want them? Sorry, I didn’t do it on purpose.”
But Tanya hit back, refusing the socks and saying she was “an inch from a breakdown”.
During the row, Charlotte began to doubt the relationship in the Bush Telegraph: “I think Ryan has communication problems, especially with women.
“I think sometimes he says things without thinking and doesn’t realise the effect it will have on someone else. I really like him, but I don’t know if we’re on the same wavelength.”
The star – who’s fledgling relationship began with Ryan when they kissed – cancelled their planned date, telling campmates: “We can’t be going on a date now. I don’t think I want to.”
Meanwhile, Ryan popped the question to Emily two years later, in December 2022.
“I did get nervous,” he told Woman’s Day magazine of the proposal. “The (ring) box was making a bit of a bulge in my pocket. So either she knew I was proposing or she just thought I was happy to see her.”
The couple first set tongues wagging about their relationship after unfollowing each other on social media in recent weeks.
