Lyudmila Kichenok was eliminated from the doubles of the WTA 500 tournament in Adelaide

Ukrainian tennis player Lyudmila Kichenok was eliminated from the doubles at the WTA 500 hard tournament in Adelaide (Australia).

In the 1st round, the Ukrainian and her partner Zhang Haoqing (Chinese Taipei) played against the tandem of Laura Siegemund (Germany) / Beatrice Haddad Maia (Brazil).

The Ukrainian tennis player lost the doubles match with a score of 4:6, 0:6 and was eliminated from the tournament.

The game lasted 1 hour and 12 minutes, the Brazilian-German duo won the second game to zero.

It is interesting that in the 2nd round Siegmund and Haddad Maia can get to Nadiya Kichenok (Ludmila’s sister) if she and Leila Fernandez from Canada beat the pair Desiree Krawczyk (USA) / Juliana Olmos (Mexico).
