Liverpool have announced a 22-man squad for the Champions League group phase.
The Reds are only allowed 17 non-homegrown players in the squad.
One of those is 16-year-old Rio Ngumoha, who does not count as homegrown as he has been at the club for less than two years.
They have also named three goalkeepers in the squad – per Uefa’s rules.
Liverpool will also be able to make use of their homegrown talent without naming them in the main squad.
They will be part of List B, which can change before each match.
The likes of Trey Nyoni and Jayden Danns, who featured in last year’s competition, can be included, with clubs able to name an unlimited number of stars.
