LEWIS HAMILTON: “It’s a nightmare I’m living in. I dreamed of playing for Ferrari”

Lewis Hamilton frankly admitted that he is experiencing “real horror” recently in the composition of Ferrari. The seven-time Formula 1 champion had an unsuccessful weekend in Sao Paulo – he failed to break into the top 10 in qualifying for either the sprint or the main race.

Having started 13th at Interlagos, Hamilton tangled with Carlos Sainz’s Williams in the first turn and fell back to 18th place. Only those who started the race from the pit lane remained ahead – Max Verstappen (Red Bull) and Esteban Ocon (Haas).

At the end of the first lap, while catching up to Franco Colapinto on the climb to the start-finish straight, the Briton caught the back of the Argentinian’s Alpin and damaged the front wing of his SF-25.

After a forced visit to the pits, it became clear that the car had suffered additional damage to the bottom, so Hamilton withdrew from the distance in the middle of the race.

“It’s a nightmare I’ve been living in for a while now,” Hamilton said

Going from the dream of playing for such an incredible team to terrible results, constant ups and downs. It’s difficult.”

Despite the difficult period, the Briton assures that he will not give up:

“Tomorrow I will rise again. I will continue to train and work with the team.
I wanted to get some good points this weekend, but I’ll come back as strong as possible in the next race in Las Vegas and try to bounce back.”

Norris won the race in Brazil, an incredible break from Verstappen
