A member of the Boxing Hall of Fame and a former world champion Barry McGuigan assessed the potential fight between Oleksandr Usyk and Deontay Wilder. According to the expert, even after defeats, the American remains a serious threat.
“Deontay Wilder is no longer at his peak, but is still a dangerous opponent for Usyk. He has retained his power – he can put down an opponent both in the first and in the twelfth round. If he hits full – Usyk will fall. He still poses a tremendous threat,” McGuigan said.
Earlier, the head of Saudi Arabia’s General Directorate of Entertainment, Turki Al-Sheikh, announced the return of former world champion Tyson Fury and hinted at a trilogy against Oleksandr Usyk.
