Kirill Osipenko: “There was not enough cold -bloodedness and focus”

Dynamo Kyiv Youth Team in the Seventh round of the National League of the U-19 played a 1: 1 draw with the Carpathians U-19. The result of the confrontation was commented by the author of the goal as part of the Kiev Club Kirill Osipenko.

– Quite emotional game. Did they expect?

– But of course, the Carpathians have a combat team, always adjusting to heavy games with them. And we always know that they can give battle.

– Is it unpleasant to win in the course of the game and lose victory?

– We always play a victory. The hard game had to keep our advantage, to score. But as it turned out. We worked out this draw on theory, but we had something out, did not get somewhere – and all.

– In the second half for a long time, our team has not particularly no moments. The Carpathians scored a goal in response. What didn’t happen to the creation?

– Probably, in the final stage, there was not enough coolness, focus on the moment. And so they could not score the second ball. But they had to forget the second ball and bring the game to win with a larger score.

– In general, there were many emotions today, many cards. How much do such emotions interfere with the constructivism of the game?

– There is no football without emotions. They only add some motivation. It is always necessary to be 90 minutes in focus and think only about the game. Emotions are good, but they should be put to the background and be focused for the end of the game.

– Soon the start of the UEFA Youth League. How much did the team enter the game rhythm? To what extent is it ready to start in the international arena?

– Slowly, with every workout, every day we enter this mode. It will not be easy, but we work for this to get better. And when you have a Champions League in the season, it’s just for the better, you can grow in such a tournament. Play in Ukraine and Ukraine in Europe. This is just a plus for us.

– Many newcomers came from the Academy and other teams. How much did they join the team? How much do Dynamo’s game principles understand?

– Yes, of course, they came and did not understand everything immediately. But today there was the seventh round, and for seven rounds, for all the workouts that were, you can already understand that the coaching staff wants that the team wants. And so all is well with it.
