Jumping in height. Lavsky received the first international medal in the season

Ukrainian jump in height Vladislav Lavsky took second place in the Balkan Associations Championships 2025 in athletics.

For the Vice-Champion of Europe 2024, it was only the second international start in the season. Before that, Lavsky spoke in Slovak Kosice, where he took 10th place, and also won silver at the Ukrainian Team Championship.

11 athletes from 9 countries participated in the height of jumps. In addition to Lavsky, Ukraine was also represented by Vadim Kravchuk.

Lavsky confidently overcame the height of 2.07, 2.11 and 2.15 m (all on the first attempt). The height of 2.19 m remained unconquered for Vladislav. However, the Ukrainian ahead of the opponents by attempts and took second place.

Kravchuk only overcame 2.11 m and completed the sixth position. The victory was won by the Bulgarian athlete Tikhomir Ivanov, who was the only one who jumped at 2.19 m.

This is the first international award of Lavsky in the 20125 season. For the last time he climbed to the pedestal a year ago, then at the Balkan Association Championship Vladislav won gold.
