Humphries hit out at Wade after the matchCredit: GettyWade beat the Dutchman 6-4 in the Belgian Open last 32 — after being branded “disgusting” over his antics in Minehead.
And he again appeared to annoy his opponent with a long walk-on which left Van Barneveld waving his arms towards the ref.
Wade was on top in the early stages of the contest but Van Barneveld was sticking in there as the score reached 4-3.
They both won one more leg as Wade closed in on the victory and he was able to hold on to take the win.
Wade bounced back having been beaten in the final of the UK Open by Luke Littler.
The final followed the storm that ensued after he licked Humphries’ neck.
The world No. 1 did not respond at the time but did not shake Wade’s hand after the match.
After losing 10-9, Humphries insisted that he was not a bad loser and did not shake hands with Wade as he did not “deserve” respect.

He posted on X: “Everyone loves to see people be a bad loser but I’m generally one of the best losers in the sport.
“I wasn’t going to give someone, who didn’t deserve my respect after what he was doing through the game, a hug and be all happy about it that’s just my honesty.”
Elsewhere in the Belgian Darts Open there were plenty of shocks.
Michael van Gerwen was dumped out by Croatian thrower Boris Krcmar 6-4.
Humphries was also beaten 6-4 in his clash against Mike De Decker.
While Littler continued his good form and beat Ryan Searle 6-3.
Meanwhile, Wade has admitted that he is aiming to reach the later stages of the tournament.
He said in his Daily Star column: “The aim in Belgium is to make the quarters or semi-finals and get back to where I belong in the top ten in the order of merit.”
